An address like you@yourname.com.au with its own inbox and sent folder. It’s email only: if you need shared documents, a team calendar or Office, we’d point you to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 instead. Please read the points below before you buy.
Before you buy
Please read these first
- On a computer, use Outlook on your desktop: choose Add account and enter your address (the setup guide has the settings if it asks). Or sign in to Axigen Webmail in your browser at https://ax.email with your full email address and password. Apple Mail and Thunderbird work too. Gmail on the web can’t add it.
- On your phone, add it to the Gmail app on Android (or iPhone) as another account, alongside your personal Gmail. All your email is then together in one app, and you switch accounts by tapping your profile picture. iPhone Mail works too.
- It’s email only. No shared calendar, contacts sync, documents or Office apps.
- New mail can take a few minutes to show up on your phone, because phone apps check for it every so often.
- Large attachments: sent from a mail app such as Outlook or the Gmail app, an email can be up to 50 MB in total. Attachments grow by about a third when they’re sent, so that’s roughly 35 MB of files. Webmail may allow less. For big files, send a link (Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox) instead.
- Storage is what you buy: 500 MB, 1 GB or 5 GB. If it fills up, we can move you up a size and keep all your mail. We tell you the cost first.
- It replaces forwarding on that domain, because a domain’s mail can only go to one place. We check with you before we switch it over. Need sales@ or accounts@ as well? Ask us.
- Set up within 1 business day. If your domain is with us, we add the records once we’ve confirmed it’s yours. If it’s elsewhere, we email you the records to add.
- One year, renewed only if you say so. It renews at the same list price, with no intro discount, and never automatically: we ask you first. Your mail isn’t locked in; you can take it with you.

Questions
Why would I pick this over Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
Mostly price, if all you need is an address that sends and receives: $24, $36 or $60 a year per mailbox, depending on size. If you need shared documents, a team calendar or Office, Workspace or 365 are the better choice, and you can move to them later and bring your mail.
Can I read it on my phone?
Yes. Add it to the Gmail app on Android or iPhone as an “Other” (IMAP) account, and it sits next to your personal Gmail. iPhone Mail, Outlook and Apple Mail work too. We email you the settings when the mailbox is ready.
My domain isn’t with Chill Domains. Can I still use it?
Yes. We email you the mail records to add at your current DNS host, and switch the mailbox on once they’re in. If your domain is with us, we add them for you once we’ve confirmed you’re its owner.
What happens to my email forwarding?
A domain’s mail goes to one place, so the mailbox replaces our free forwarding for that domain. We check with you before switching. Need extra addresses like sales@ to land in your mailbox? Ask us.
How do I get my email out if I stop using it?
It’s a standard IMAP mailbox, so your mail isn’t locked in. Moving to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365? Their import tools copy your whole mailbox across. Keeping it yourself? Add the mailbox to a mail program like Thunderbird, Outlook or Apple Mail and drag your folders into local folders. Before we close a mailbox we email you and give you time to copy your mail, because closing it deletes the mail for good. What happens at renewal?
It renews at the list price for a new mailbox at the time, with no intro discount, so you pay what a new customer pays. Nothing renews automatically: before the year is up we email you to ask if you’d like to keep it. If you don’t, we remind you to copy your mail before the mailbox is closed.
