Common causes:
- The domain was registered (or last transferred) less than 60 days ago — ICANN rule, not ours.
- The domain is locked at your current registrar — log in there and switch the lock off.
- You don’t have the EPP / transfer code yet — it’s in your current registrar’s control panel.
- The domain is in redemption / pending delete — email us and we can usually still help.

Transfer fee: none. You pay for one year of renewal up front ( ) — we add that year on top of whatever time you have left at the current registrar. After that, renewal stays at the same flat rate. No loyalty tax, no hike on year two.
.au transfers usually complete in a few hours. gTLDs (.com, .net, .org, etc.) take 5–7 days because the losing registrar gets a window to confirm — that’s an ICANN rule, not us being slow. You’ll get an email at each stage.
